This milestone signifies a remarkable 71% YoY growth in store count and reinforces the brand’s position as a major fashion retail player in India which is set to become the world’s 3rd largest consumer market by 2027, with fast fashion growing 30-40% YoY in FY24 (overall fashion grew by 6%). In 2022, Nexon Omniverse launched Style Union with bold growth ambitions and chose to partner with Nextail to take a centrally-led and automated approach to core merchandising decisions in order to reach two crucial objectives: To rapidly expand the physical store network while ensuring scalable and connected operations, and to implement robust forecasting, allocation and replenishment for appropriate stock levels for meeting customer demand and maximizing full-price stores while maintaining an appealing store atmosphere. As a result, Style Union was able to open 40 stores across India in its very first year.

Today, Style Union operates 101 stores (up from 59 last November) and continues to use Nextail to increase the efficiency of their inventory, reduce operational costs, and deliver an outstanding customer experience through improved availability.

  • Expansion: The 101st store opening marks a 71% YoY growth in the brand’s store footprint, establishing Style Union’s national presence in both urban and suburban markets.
  • Operational efficiency: Style Union has been able to achieve an inventory turnover ratio of 4 while maintaining high sales performance (91% growth in units sold YoY and 17% more units across like for like stores YoY), all while carrying 30% less in-store stock vs. peers.
  • Customer satisfaction: Optimized product availability with a 98% reduction of out-of-stocks.
