- This is Nextail’s 3rd consecutive RTIH Innovation Award
- The award recognises retail technology project excellence, both in delivery and outcomes
LONDON, ENGLAND: Nextail, the AI-driven merchandise execution platform for fashion retailers, has been awarded the RTIH Innovation Award for “Technology Implementation of the Year (Rest of World)” at the annual ceremony organized by Retail Tech Innovation Hub, the leading UK publication for the global omnichannel retail technology community.
The annual RTIH Awards celebrate innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces and received a record number of entries this year. The “Technology Implementation of the Year (RoW)” category recognises retail projects that demonstrate excellence in both delivery and outcomes.
Nextail was also shortlisted in two additional 2025 RTIH Innovation Award categories: Sustainable Retail Innovation and Best Use of Automation in the Retail Sector. This achievement follows two previous RTIH Innovation Award wins: in 2023, Nextail was Co-Awarded Best Retailer-Retail Tech Supplier alongside Flying Tiger Copenhagen, followed by the award for AI Innovation of the year, with Guess in 2024.
Today, Nextail automates more than one billion merchandising decisions per season, optimizing SKU-level performance across individual locations. By aligning supply with demand to this degree, Nextail helps fashion retailers sell more at full price, reduce markdowns, and operate more sustainably. Customers include Mountain Warehouse, White Stuff (another 2025 RTIH Innovation Award winner!) and River Island.
“Nextail was built to help fashion retailers move faster and smarter when it comes to inventory decisions. It’s an honor to see that mission recognized by the RTIH Awards. Thank you to Scott Thompson, the judges, and congratulations to all the brilliant winners this year,” said Carlos Miragall, CEO of Nextail.
This recognition underscores Nextail’s continued commitment to driving measurable impact for fashion retailers through innovation. As retail evolves, Nextail remains focused on enabling data-driven, sustainable growth across global store networks.
“Nextail’s submission stood out for providing fantastic examples of its retail partners, including Guess and Hackett London, powering ahead with step changes in how they plan and move stock. AI and machine learning are often viewed as buzzwords, but Nextail is showing that these technologies, when used in the right way, should make all retailers stand up and take notice,” said Scott Thompson, Editor and Founder of RTIH.
