UK Country Manager
In order to support our expansion in the UK, we want to add a UK Country Manager to our current team of 18 people. The new team member will be the first man on the field in the UK and will be responsible of setting-up the operations. This is a strategic position with direct report to the CEO of Nextail.
The UK Country Manager will be responsible of the P&L and in charge of:
- Designing and implementing local legal and organizational structure
- Recruiting and developing the local team
- Defining and implementing the commercial strategy and contributing to Nextail's partnership strategy
- Drafting agreements and closing deals with clients
- Onboarding clients and nourishing relationships to ensure high life time value for Nextail
His work might also drive the Marketing Strategy and Product Design areas through the feedback loops incorporated into our agile product development methodology.
You probably have a strategy consulting or project management background and experience with Change Management. You love technology and how it can help organisations achieve superior results. You are comfortable with the fast-paced environment in supply chain operations. Most importantly, you can make sound decisions under uncertainty and time constraints.
Most of the team is based in Madrid, but work can be performed remotely. English is the company language, but within the team we speak altogether some 16 languages (counting both those of humans and computers).
5+ years of working experience in high paced environments (Strategy Consulting, startups, etc).
Commercial spirit and proven sales skills (industry connections in the local market are a plus).
Team management experience, as well as an ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time and under time pressure, are essential.
Fashion and retail experience is helpful but not essential.
Analytical skills to understand and be able to support our clients’ operational issues; in particular, an understanding of advanced supply chain optimisation methods is highly advantageous.
