Operations Support Developer

In a typical day, you will…
- Help team members and final users finding and solving issues.
- Get praised by the Client Operations team for making their lives easier.
- Fix and smash bugs and make it to our Top Bugbuster ranking.
- Develop features to automate tasks and improve ops and integration with client systems.
- Get some more love from the team on slack.
- Monitor our production systems that are (almost) never down.
- Support our devops and systems configuration team.
While most of our operations are run from our headquarters in sunny Madrid, we also have teams located in the main markets where we operate, currently Spain, Italy and Russia. English is the company language, but within the team we speak altogether some 16 languages (counting both those of humans and computers).
Passion for working with and helping people. This position is ideal for entry-level developers but not restricted, more senior developers are also welcome to apply. Can handle many interruptions but get things done.
Self-motivated and self-organized. Good time-management and personal organizational skills are essential.
Passion for technology and like to be continuously learning.
Experience in SQL is a plus. We are currently using MySQL and you will have to use complex queries to investigate some issues.
Experience in sysadmin or devops is a plus. We are currently using Amazon cloud technologies and you could help to configure, monitor and improve our infrastructure.
You are fluent in English (other languages, especially Spanish, are a plus) and are interested in working in an international company.
