In order to support the exponential growth ahead of us, we are looking to add a Marketing Manager profile to our current team of 35 people. The new team member will be instrumental in scaling Nextail’s business as we build one of the leading software companies in Europe, backed by the number one VC fund in Spain according to Dealroom.
The Marketing Manager will be the first dedicated marketing professional in the company, reporting directly to the VP Business Development. Main responsibilities will be:
- Developing impactful marketing content to support lead generation and sales.
- Driving social media marketing including Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Medium to enhance Nextail brand – be our sitting Community Manager!
- Generating awareness about Nextail brand by managing its presence in the main publications and newspapers of fashion, retail, technology and startups.
- Leading and coordinating all aspects of Nextail participation in industry events, such as trade fairs, events with clients and seminars.
- Defining and implementing an end-to-end inbound lead generation process (qualification and nurturing) through different channels (e.g. SEO, SEM, Google Display, etc).
The role is based out of our headquarters in sunny Madrid but some travel is expected since you will be supporting our teams located in the main markets where we operate, currently Spain, Italy and Russia. English is the company language, but within the team we speak altogether some 16 languages (counting both those of humans and computers).
You are a creative and hands-on marketing professional with experience in B2B Marketing, ideally in a startup or other fast-paced environment. You have superior expertise in using SEO, SEM and social networks to strengthen a brand in a new market. You are an analytical marketer capable of maximizing the ROI of a constrained marketing budget.
You have a creative and sharp mind to understand a complex product and develop impactful marketing materials (graphic design skills using PhotoShop or InDesign are a must) relevant to our customers. You have experience coordinating the presence and exhibition in events.
You are a team player and bring some project management skills that allow you to coordinate people with diverse backgrounds. You are able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time and under time pressure.
You are native in English and fluent in other European languages (ideally Italian or Spanish) and are interested in working in an international company.
